All three Pearl River casinos specify combination of SC Advance and EASITRAX Web to drive newfound operational efficiencies
Malvern, PA, September 30, 2014 – After converting its entire fleet of 3,100 games, Pearl River Resort is now operating exclusively with CPI products across its three Mississippi casinos. The upgrade to SC Advance note acceptors and EASITRAX Web occurred in June and took less than one week to complete. Product performance, and the opportunity to improve operational efficiencies, influenced the Resort’s decision to specify CPI.
Prior to the changeover, Pearl River utilized an assortment of note acceptors from several different manufacturers. “Maintenance was a challenge, and the variety kept us from achieving a desirable state of efficiency,” said Kristine McMillan, slot manager. “We knew there had to be a better way, and with CPI we found the answer.
“The SC note acceptors are more reliable – the increased uptime and acceptance make a difference for us and our players. And with EASITRAX Web, we now have a complete view of how our note acceptors are performing, so we can manage our floors – and our cash – quickly and easily. We’re very impressed with the reports we’ve been able to create to really drill down into this data.”
The combination of EASITRAX Web and SC Advance allows Pearl River to manage their assets from the slot floor to the back room. SC Advance is part of the SC family of note acceptors that has achieved an installed field base of nearly one million units in the Gaming industry alone. More than 150,000 of those units are coupled with EASITRAX Soft Count, the integrated hardware/software cash management system that facilitates efficiencies across operations.
EASITRAX Web, a new software extension for EASITRAX Soft Count, provides a value-added alternative to the standard software package. Data collected in the SC acceptor head can still be used to assist with the drop process, simplify asset evaluation and conduct preventative maintenance programs. EASITRAX Web simply makes it easier to import that data, and convert it into reports, from anywhere in the world with secure intranet access – and with EASITRAX Web, those reports can now be customized to highlight the most important metrics.
“CPI develops products and extensions with the intent to help our customers become more efficient and profitable, and we continuously work toward finding new ways to increase the value we provide,” said Eric Fisher, CPI president of Gaming. “EASITRAX Web is a great example of this, and we’re pleased that it’s helped Pearl River achieve its operational goals. We look forward to providing casino management with further support and assistance as their needs evolve.”
