(l to r) Chuck Reed, Dave Deaville, Chris Felix and Chris Mumford receive AMOA Innovator Award for MEI Series 2000 4-in1 validator

WEST CHESTER, Pa., October 9, 2007 MEI was one of four companies to receive the 2007 Innovation Award from the Amusement & Music Operators Association (AMOA) for its new Series 2000 4-in-1 Validator. The annual award recognizes those companies that developed products with potential to drive amusement machine operators’ sales and profits.

The MEI Series 2000 4-in-1 Validator is the first vending and amusement product to offer four total payment options in a single unit. Customers making purchases can choose to pay with cash, coupons, traditional swipe credit/debit cards, or contactless payment devices offered by major credit card companies.
The MEI Series 2000 4-in-1 Validator offers more payment options, giving added convenience to the customers of amusement machine operators. It is expected that increased payment options will boost sales volume and site retention because now the customer has a fourth payment option.
The AMOA presented MEI with the award at the 2007 AMOA International Expo on Sept. 28 in Las Vegas. For more information on this award program, click http://www.amoashow.com/.
